Environmental Health Team Leader

We are looking for a customer-focused, team player who can motivate and mentor our Environmental Health team to continue delivering and exceeding customer expectations across the District whilst also assisting with our shared services arrangements with our neighbours.
As our Environmental Health Team Leader, you will report to our Manager Compliance and will provide operational day to day management to our Environmental Health team including staff rosters, performance development reviews, conducting team meetings and the ongoing training and development within the team. As an operational leader, you will also focus on the health of our residents including alcohol licensing, noise control, contaminated land and public health nuisances, and food safety.
You will be an inspirational supervisor who leads by example and seeks to develop your team to excel along with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines. You will have excellent oral and written communication including report writing and presentations, ensuring you have the focus of our customers at the forefront of all you do.
